Delhi Government School Admission 2022: Students interested in enrolling in Delhi Government Schools in Grades 6 through 9 must submit an online application by Tuesday, May 2nd, 2022. Students who are not currently enrolled in a government or aided school can apply using the online application portal. To switch schools, pupils who are enrolled in Delhi-sponsored or -run schools must submit an application for transfer or readmission. They’ll get in touch with the colleges about that. There will be three rounds of registration and admissions. Only the dates vary from cycle to cycle, but the process remains the same for each.

Students can begin registering and submitting their online admission applications for classes VI through IX starting on April 11, 2022, at 12:00 PM and will have until May 2, 2022, at 5:00 PM to do so. Eligibility Criteria for Delhi Govt. School Admissions

If students are interested in taking any of the classes listed above, they must meet the department’s eligibility requirements, which may be found in the table below.

  • 6 Passport-size photos of the child and both parents, taken within the last three years.
  • Blood test results should be accompanied by the child’s immunization record or medical report.
  • For single-parent families, copies of legal documents must be attested.
  • Those students who reside under the care of a local guardian must submit an Affidavit of Guardianship.

How to apply for Delhi Govt. School admission 2022?

To apply for admission into one of the sixth through ninth grades for the 2022-2023 academic year, students must follow these steps:.

  • Visit, the official website of the Delhi Directorate of Education.
  • Select ‘Govt. School Admissions’ from the drop-down menu.
  • A page for the Department of Education’s admissions process will be available soon.
  • By clicking ‘Online Registration Form’ under the ‘Admissions in Class VI to IX’ section, the registration form for non-plan admissions will be displayed on your screen.
  • Submitting the registration form’s requested information (class, personal information, address details, and bank details) is now the only thing left to do.
  • Close off the procedure by clicking on the “Next” option.
  • After a few minutes of waiting, you will receive a registration number through SMS to the mobile number you gave when registering for the event.
  • Make a note of that registration number or save it to your phone’s draughts folder.

Delhi Govt. Selection Process: 

The list of students who will receive seats at the academy according to the qualifying requirements and the number of seats available will be posted by the DoE authorities on its official website,, following the completion of the enrollment procedure. Those students who receive seats will receive an invitation to participate in the papers verification round, when a panel will review their individual documents. The scholars will be able to enroll at the academy of their choice following the completion of the verification process.

But don’t be disheartened if you weren’t chosen in Cycle I; you’ll have the chance to apply for Cycles II and III, and if you succeed in those, you’ll be able to see your name on the list of available seats and be contacted for the documents-verification phase.
