Navodaya application form for 9th class 2022-23: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) online application form for Grade 9 will soon be available. Class 8 students have till November 2022 to fill out the Navodaya vidyalaya entrance form for the following year. When the time comes, candidates can access their JNVST admit cards at navodaya.gov.in and nvsadmissionclassnine.in.

There is a test for class 9 admittance to JNV, and only those who are accepted can take it. Students in 27 states and 8 union territories can take the Navodaya vidyalaya admission test for class 9 placement. In April of 2023, students will take an exam to gain entry to JNV’s grade 9 programme.

Eligibility Criteria

If you want to enroll into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, you have to meet these requirements to take the All-India Entrance Exam.

  1. Students who are currently enrolled in grade 8 (for the 2021–2022 school year) at a public or government-recognized school in the same district as their preferred Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya will be given priority for enrollment.
  2. The yearly Grade Eight examination for the 2020-21 school year must be successfully completed.
  3. The application deadline for the selection exam is November 30, 2021.

Examination Pattern and Syllabus

Here’s some info you’ll need to know about the test:

  • The time limit to complete the admissions exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
    Please take note that if a candidate needs an extra 50 minutes due to a medical or physical issue, they will only receive this extension if they can show the appropriate documentation.
  • The test will be administered in a non-online format.
  • You can choose between English and Hindi for your exam’s question paper.
  • Students are required to use an OMR sheet to mark their answers during this multiple-choice test.
  • All applicants should check the website where they applied to see if they were successful; here is where the results will be posted in accordance with NV selection criteria.
  • There is a proportional number of open positions set up for SC and ST applicants. The candidate must have a cast certificate in order to be eligible for the reservation quota.

The tests will be given in either English or Hindi as the medium of instruction. There won’t be any breaks during the nonstop 2.5 hour objective test that will serve as the selection process’s deciding factor. However, candidates with special requirements (Divyang) will be granted a 50-minute extension, contingent on the presentation of appropriate documentation from the relevant government. The selection test will include multiple-choice questions in the areas of mathematics, general science, English, and Hindi. The examination paper shall be of Class VIII difficulty.
